Yorkwell Petroleum
Refinery at dusk with lit process towers

Downstream Operations

Downstream turns crude oil into products and takes them to market. Yorkwell Petroleum works with refiners, suppliers and distributors to place refined products with buyers.

Our role

We do not own or operate refineries. We source refined products from refiners and suppliers and match them with distributors and end buyers.

A refinery separates crude oil into fractions and upgrades them into finished fuels. Diesel, gasoline and jet fuel leave the refinery to a published standard, and that standard is what a buyer contracts for.
